This Dexter 6-53 wheel lug nut is a 9/16"-18 fine thread pitch coned style tapered nut. The coned seat ensures proper alignment in the wheel rim for proper torque distribution. Typically used on 7000 lbs. and 8000 lbs. axles with hubs and drums that have 9/16"-18 thread pitch wheel lug studs.
